Aboubakar Kamara plays for the Mauritanian National team who knocked out one of the pre tournament favourites Algeria at the ongoing AFCON 2023.

The 28 year old currently plies his profession at Al Jazira football club in the Dubai Football League, but between the 2017/18 and 2020/2021 seasons, he played for Fulham Football Club in the English Premier League where his squad number was No.47.

His nickname comes from a combination of his initials and his squad number at his old club Fulham.
