Developers never start projects with a mindset of making a profit, though this doesn’t sound sexy for developers you need to approach projects with that mindset else failure is imminent.
Getting Obsessed with the idea rather than the customer's problems.
Developers should stop thinking or imagining a problem in their heads and do their research before considering their idea as a solution to a real problem. Even if it is a problem, users may still not necessarily be ready for the solution.
Communication is key and very crucial, you are the only one that knows the application because you built it, you don’t just expect us to figure out how to use it on our own.
A lot of developers fail in this aspect.
Not working enough to promote the application, in fact, this can not be over empathized, that you think you have a solution to a problem doesn’t mean that you will just go to sleep and not promote it, in fact, this stage is the most crucial, it is at this stage you need to look for investors so you can have money and resources to promote the application, if not the application is destined to fail.
