Multiply everything by 4 because it's the lcm
X+3+2x=6
X+2x=6-3

Multiply through using the LCM
4( X + 3)/4 + 4(X /2) = 4(3/2)
X + 3 + 2X = 2x3
X +3 + 2X = 6
3X +3 = 6
