The Alliance for New Nigeria had it's primaries today 29/9/2018. Delegates trouped in from different parts of the country to vote their respective aspirants which Mr Fela Durotoye was a presidential aspirant. It was indeed a spectacle to behold . The Event started with the accreditation of the delegates and speeches from key officers of the party and Mr Fela Durotoye himself.
The delegates proceeded to start casting their votes for their respective aspirants under a free and fair condition. After the voting process was concluded, it was sorted and counted in the presence of INEC observers who came to the even and the party delegates as well as the general public who came as observers too and those who watched online via facebook.
Mr Fela Durotoye won the presidential primary by a whooping 240 votes by beating Mr Gbenga Olawepo Hashim who scored a consolation 7 votes.
This simply means that Mr Durotoye will be the flag bearer and the presidential candidate of the ANN in the 2019 polls.
